After the launch at national level (Bucharest, July 24th), the “Third Place for Active Citizenship” project is now being launched at the local level as well. And the first location for this is Brasov, the city that once functioned as a republic, with extremely active citizens, whose interest in participation is matched nowadays by their successors.
Thereby, on Thursday, October 23d, the attic of the County Library was occupied by over 35 NGO members, civil servants and journalists who responded to the invitation of the Progress Foundation and took part in the event.
Following the short project presentations delivered by the project team, local community representatives could ask questions and found answers regarding project implementation, timing of activities and expected results. We thank all those who attended and we invite them to stay connected and get directly involved in subsequent stages!
Brasov, you are the #thirdplace!
